With the announcement of the winner, Bigg Boss 15 came to an end after four months of entertaining viewers. Tejasswi Prakash, who was one of the favorites to win the BB 15 trophy, was declared the season 15 winner. The Swaragini actress took home the Bigg Boss 15 trophy and a prize pool of Rs 40 lakh. According to the BB 15 grand finale, Tejasswi will play the lead role in Naagin 6.
Tejasswi was a strong contestant in Bigg Boss 15, so Salman Khan’s announcement of her name came as no surprise. She was overjoyed to win the show and was seen on stage hugging the trophy. Tejasswi Prakash came across as a strong-willed character who was not afraid to express her opinions throughout her time on the show.
The Brawl Incident: What Exactly Went Down?
On Bigg Boss season 15, actor Tejasswi Prakash got into a major brawl with Shamita Shetty. Tejasswi referred to Shamita as “aunty” after accusing her of getting physical with her boyfriend Karan Kundrra, which irritated Shamita. Tejasswi Prakash once said that calling a woman “aunty” is derogatory. Fans reacted angrily when she referred to Bigg Boss 15 co-contestant Shamita Shetty as “aunty” this week.
Bigg Boss fans dug up an old video of Tejasswi from her time on Ladies Vs Gentlemen. The participants in the episode debated whether calling a woman “aunty” is disrespectful. Tejasswi revealed that she was once referred to as aunty by a man who was only a few years her junior.
“Mere saath hua hua hua hua hua hua hua h ‘Main itni bhi badi nahi hoon,’ Tejasswi says.
Translation: To be honest, it happened to me. I assured him that I was not that old. I’ve reacted in that way.
“Main bohot saari auntiyon ko, jo genuinely mujhse bohot badi hai, jinko main aunty hi bulaungi, unko bhi problem hui hai. Many people, jo aunty wale age group mein hai, refuse to believe ki woh aunty wale age group mein hai.”
Translation: I have called many women who are genuinely much older than me, who I will still call “Aunty”. They have had a problem with that as well. Women much older than me have also objected to being called aunty. Many older people refuse to believe that they fall into the “Aunty” category.
When Rithvik Dhanjani said it wasn’t derogatory, Tejasswi responded, “It is for women.” Tejasswi started teasing Karan and Shamita after she gave him a massage during a task on the show. “It’s Karan Kundrra, not Raqesh Bapat.”
“Isse pahele aapne apne task ko kabhi itna seriously nahi liya tha”
Translation: You’ve never taken your task this seriously before.
“Lo aunty chadh gayi us pe bhi,” Tejasswi added.
Translation: Look, Aunty is all over him too.
Shamita retorted, enraged by the remark that Tejasswi had no business calling her an aunty in the middle of a task. Shamita became visibly enraged and informed Karan that she would not say anything for his sake.

The top five final players were each given a suitcase worth ten lakh rupees. Nishant Bhat chose to exit the show with the prize money and the race to the winner’s trophy. Salman Khan, the Bigg Boss host, congratulated Nishant and said he made the right decision to walk away with ten lakhs, implying that he did not receive enough votes to win the show.
Salman had invited the finalists’ families to perform a dance on the stage during the show. They were all grooving to Garmi’s beat. Salman was seen congratulating his ex-girlfriend, actress Katrina Kaif, on her wedding to actor Vicky Kaushal during the show.
Shehnaaz Gill, an actor, was also a guest on the show and talked about Katrina. “Main Punjab ki Katrina Kaif se India ki Shehnaaz Gill ho gayi hu,” she explained, “kyunki ab India ki Katrina Kaif toh Punjab ki Katrina ban chuki hai.”
Translation: In the same way that India’s Katrina Kaif has become Punjab’s Katrina, I’ve become India’s Shehnaaz Gill from Punjab’s Katrina Kaif.
