IBPS SO Exam Dates 2022 Out: 

The IBPS exam is held every year by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS). IBPS SO is an exam held to select specialist officers (SO) for different public bank sectors. IBPS will have a common written exam by which the institute hires officers and clerks through standard written examination(CWE). 

To become a  Specialist officer(SO), candidates must achieve a good grade in any professional language and pass the graduation degree with 50% marks. Along with these, check SO’s eligibility criteria and requirements and apply for the exam. 

IBPS has announced the official notification and exam dates for recruiting a Specialist Officer(SO). As per the given notification, the prelims exam will be conducted in the last Week of December 2022 and the Mains exam in the last Week of January 2023. The posts available are mentioned below, and the candidates need to apply to those mentioned posts.

IBPS SO 2022 exam consists of three phases:

  1. Prelims
  2. Mains
  3. Interview

The candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria for this exam need to register for it. Those who qualify for the online examination will be further considered for the interview process.

IBPS SO Recruitment:

As in the overview, we had already discussed it. The selection of Specialist officers is made in three phases: 

  • Online preliminary exam
  • Online mains exam
  • Interview process

Once the candidates are eligible for all the requirements, they can register for these online exams. Only if the candidates qualify for both the online exams will they be allowed to further interview. 

IBPS SO 2022 Eligibility criteria

The IBPS SO eligibility criteria is different for recruiting candidates to different positions for which the candidates are selected through IBPS SO 2022 Exam. There are three parameters (citizenship, age limit and educational qualification) that a candidate needs to fulfil to be eligible for IBPS SO 2022 Exam.

The Citizenship Criteria for a candidate to be eligible for IBPS SO 2022 exam is discussed below:

•Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1st January 1962 and have planned to settle in India permanently
•A subject of Indian Origin migrated from Burma, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Uganda, Kenya, United Republic of Tanzania, Namibia, Ethiopia, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Vietnam

Educational Qualifications

IBPS SO recruits candidates for various posts like I.T. Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, Marketing Officer etc. The educational qualification is different for all these posts.
